Contracts and Facility Management Specialist- GBS

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company


As a member of GBS Office Administrtation Team- India, the position incumbent will support with daily administrative activities of office operations. Assist associates in ways that optimize procedures.  Provide Support with coordinating business travels. Support the department strategies by creating purchase orders for spot/tactical purchases and contracts call-offs for GBS and Corporate in all spend categories for our locations in India, Hungary, Norway, and North America.




  • Purchase spot/tactcal requests for GBS and corporate
  • Create purchasing orders in SAP
  • Create contracts call-offs and collect signatures
  • Create and maintain entries in the contracts repository system
  • Work closely to internal customer to guarantee quality, cost and on-time delivery
  • Manage invoices claims/issues
  • Run pre-qualification of suppliers
  • Ensure to work in compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies and standardized operating procedures.
  • Perform all other tasks upon the instructions of the superior in charge which may be necessitated by the operations of the related unit and which do not conflict with any applicable laws, statutory provisions and company rules.
  • Compliance with area-specific customer requirements.
  • Oversee travel desk.
  • Handle travel/visa requests promptly. Assist with travel-related issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for office functioning.



  • Experience required- Mini: 3 years and Max: 5 years of relevant experience
  • Expérience in office administration (desirable)
  • Experience in Procurement (desirable)
  • Experiencie with SAP 
  • Experience in Shared Services environment (desirable)


Education & specific skills (incl. language):

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Economy, Accounting, Engineering or Relevant experience in the area
  • Experience with Office Administration, document management, contract handling
  • Fluent in English written/oral is mandatory
