Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Role purpose:

Vendor relationship manager is accountable for building and managing relationships with companies that supply services to the organization.  The role is ensuring that the vendors meet and exceed the contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.

Responsibilities:

• Work with vendors to articulate and correct service failures or deficiencies
• Act as primary point of contact for vendors and the company on service-related questions.
• Manage regular review sessions with supporting teams and customers to determine plan of action to reduce service failures, identify problems, develop practical solutions, and guide their implementation by partnering with peers and corporate business partners.
• Oversee management of vendor relationships, analyze quality metrics and KPIs, identify process gaps, and drive continuous improvements to enhance the customer experience and keeping vendors informed on developments in the organization
• Keeping cost related to the service and vendor under control and according to the budget

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in similar position
• Master’s degree preferably on IT or Service management
• Service desk management, vendor management experience
• Fluent English language knowledge
