OT/ICS Manager

Hydro Aluminium Metal a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods and high-purity aluminum with a global production network of around 5,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and in the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production is based on renewable energy.

You will work within Infrastructure & Technoloy department collaborating close with stakeholder across the organization. Your key responsibilities:
 

  • Product management and delivery: Be responsible for the entire SCADA/OT/ICS product lifecycle, ensuring delivery from start to finish, in line with customer requirements. This includes leading the team managing necessary infrastructure, including servers, PLCs, networks and security systems to support product delivery at the respective sites. 
  • Program management: Oversee SCADA/OT/ICS product development, ensuring alignment with best practices in standards, architecture, security, and compliance. Ensure that new OT/ICS systems are built to cover future needs of the business together with key stakeholders. Including managing the portfolio of projects that supports the continuous development of the AM I&T services delivered.
  • Vendor management: Implement a strategy on how to streamline selection of vendors, tools, and services towards the OT/ICS processes. 
  • Standardization: Engage with OT/ICS process owners across Hydro Aluminum to drive product implementation in a standardized manner.
  • Team leadership: Lead and organize a team of both internal and external resources, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. It is also expected that you will actively contribute with learnings, innovative ideas and experiences towards other teams and departments. 
  • Customer engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal customers, ensuring their needs are met through regular touchpoints and updates.
  • Reporting: Ensure consistent compliance and other reporting requirements.
  • Operationality: Develop and implement an efficient operating and support model for the products.
  • Work-life balance: Promote a supportive work environment where team members can maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life.

 

Desired competencies

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Experience working with industrial automation, cyber physical systems, product management, and delivery, and leading teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • An understanding of business and production processes within the aluminum industry or similar industries
