Junior Data Privacy Specialist (2 years fixed-term contract)

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

 

Role purpose:

 

The position is responsible for the implementation and coordination of Hydro GDPR framework (Hydro Binding Corporate Rules - BCR) for HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing and Communication and HSE and advise con Data Privacy legal matters.

This role ensures accuracy and competence in Data Privacy to fulfil Hydro requirements, corporate policies, guidelines and rules for Global Business Services organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Mapping, maintenance and documentation of processes and applications containing personal data.
  • Support compliance with Data privacy principles and protection by design by default requirements.
  • Assist in supplier agreements including Data Processing Agreements.
  • Coordination, advise and instruction on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Execute risk assessments and related documentation for all relevant processing activities including systems/applications (service providers/processors).
  • Develop and held Data Privacy trainings for relevant areas (HR, Finance, Marketing and Communication, etc.).
  • Partner with all key stakeholders to ensure Data Privacy compliance in new projects.
  • Coordination of the Data Privacy Network including privacy champion training and on-going development.
  • Coordinate the investigation, assessment and documentation of data breaches and security incidents.
  • Identify and manage data privacy risks in accordance with the regular risk management processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of privacy standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor the global Data Privacy laws to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices and issue recommendations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide professional support for external/internal audits related to Data Privacy.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 1+ year experience in field of Data Privacy
  • Experience at multinational companies with global presence
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • Globally recognized data privacy professional certification is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of EU data privacy and data protection regulation, and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation worldwide.
  • Data breach management, risk assessment knowledge
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian languages
  • Good managing, initiation, problem solving and communication skills
