HR Advisor, Employee Services

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Responsibilities:

 

  • The first point of contact for all HR related queries from Hydro employees and line managers in Germany
  • Log cases and handle short duration (typically less than 4-5 minutes)
  • Handle general questions placed via phone calls and chats
  • Refer longer duration or more complex enquiries for a follow up response from competence teams
  • Ensure cases are opened and closed appropriately and action notes captured
  • Follow standardized ‘scripts’ and/or work instructions closely to ensure the delivery of a consistent and professional customer response
  • Manage leave of absence cases and escalate cases to managers and HR BP
  • Generate regular reports on sick leave, follow up sick leave cases, time and attendance follow up
  • Administrate the recommendation letters system and support/follow up the process with line managers
  • Updating and/or uploading personnel files
  • Support others HR teams with general HR related tasks when necessary

 

Requirements:

 

  • BSc or MSc degree preferably in HR field
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a multinational environment (experience within working in HR is a plus)
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Ability to deliver work correctly and within deadlines and according to processes
  • Ability to execute approaches, tools and techniques for informing and advising managers and employees in HR-related knowledge areas
  • Knowledge of SAP HR, Contact center solution and digital employee archives systems are advantageous
  • Helpful and customer oriented personality with attention to detail
