About the job and your team

The Information Management and Compliance Specialist is a critical role within our organization, tasked with overseeing the operational aspects of information management and ensuring compliance within the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong understanding of data governance, compliance regulations, and M365 tools and functionalities.
 

You will work on

•    Responsible for Information Management and Compliance settings and processes in the Microsoft 365 environment and for maintaining a highly secure and compliant environment.
•    Acting as a single point of contact for all Microsoft 365 data privacy and data incidents, data and compliance projects, initiatives, and on-going operational activities, for example Security and Compliance score monitoring and implementation.
•    Accountable for ensuring all Hydro compliance and security processes are followed and requirements met, for example Data Access request, Insider data access, retention policies, etc. 
•    Complete quarterly Enterprise Governance and Risk assessment tasks and indicators. Liaise with process owners to resolve gaps identified through assessments, audits, or other observations.
•    Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 business continuity plans and relevant documentation. 
•    Build productive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and business customers

Your qualifications and skills

•    3-5 years of progressive experience in information management, data governance, or compliance, within an M365 environment.
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
•    Certification in Microsoft 365, with a focus on information management and security, like Microsoft Certified Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
•    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is an advantage.
•    Proven experience in managing information within the Microsoft 365 environment.
•    Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and data protection laws.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and guide team members.
•    English language – B2 or higher
