Starting Rate of Pay: $25.00 plus depending on experience
Shifts Available and Hours: 2nd Shift
Evenings
Monday – Friday
2:30pm to 11:00pm
Shift Premium: Nightshift - $2.00/hour extra
Job Summary:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for performing set-ups on various types of CNC machines and conducting first article inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Required Education/Experience:
- Must be able to understand and communicate basic commands in English.
- Proficiency in basic writing and "shop" math, including the ability to use a calculator, read a tape measure, and operate calipers.
- Competence in making Offset G Code changes at the machine.
- Ability to conduct basic program and offset edits.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CNC programming is preferred.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute basic set-ups on CNC machines.
- Perform necessary tool changes efficiently.
- Conduct first article inspections and complete the requisite documentation for final inspections.
- Carry out in-process inspections as needed and ensure all quality inspection paperwork is accurately completed.
- Fill out all required production paperwork, including routers and other relevant documents.
