The rate that we reasonably expect to pay for this position is $19.80/hour   

Shifts Available and Hours: 2nd Shift

                                                Monday - Friday 

                                                3:30pm – 3:30am   

Shift Premium: 2nd shift - $2.00 /hour extra

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:  

• Previous Manufacturing
• Previous Extrusion Experience Preferred
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment. 
• Must be able to handle both large pieces and small pieces of aluminum extrusions 
• Basic math skills, use a calculator, and read a tape measure

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews the print and manufacturing practice for specific notes related to special inspection requirements and stacking patterns
• Inspects materials on the saw exit table and as stacked for surface quality issues and scraps or reports defects to the Supervisor/Metal Checker or Saw Boss as directed
• Inspects material for visible problems with twist or straightness on the table or as stacked into the racks; visually inspects the cut ends to verify that there is no obvious distortion in the profile on both ends of rack/truck
• Fills appropriate length racks and/or trucks for transferring metal downstream
• Maintains accurate piece counts of conforming and nonconforming material
