Starting Rate of pay: $19.80/ hour
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift- Monday- Friday from 3pm- 3am, plus one Saturday/ month if required (specifics will be discussed at interview)
Shift Premium: $2.00/hour extra for shift differential (2nd Shift)
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment or machine.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- Lift and stack products.
- Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned area.
- Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.
- Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- No high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience required; prior manufacturing experience and/or quality inspection experience preferred.
- Must be willing to train and advance to Extruder A (quality inspecting responsibilities); training provided.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.
- Must be able to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.
- Must follow all work and safety instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow.
- Ability to follow detailed directions.
- Must be able to use a calculator and read a tape measure.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- No prior work-related experience required; manufacturing or mobile equipment operation (e.g., forklift, Combi) experience is helpful.
