Predictive Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: 

 

This position reports directly to the Reliability Engineer. This position is responsible for but not limited to collecting Predictive Maintenance data for Ultrasound, IR, Oil Samples, and Strobe Light inspections. Basic in-the-moment analysis to be performed to alert Reliability Engineer/Maintenance leadership of critical issues found. A team member will be required to participate in oil sampling and Ultrasound Lubrication.  The successful candidate will be accountable for safety, health, and environmental issues related to this position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible to perform predictive maintenance activities (Ultrasound testing and lubrication, IR, Oil sampling, and Strobe Light testing) as determined by Reliability Engineer or designee.
  • Conduct basic analysis of Predictive data to include repair validation and baseline set points.
  • Supports all predictive maintenance projects and completes data entry as needed in the predictive database with direction from Reliability Engineer.
  • Is responsible to utilize the CMMS (MVP) system for documentation on completion of planned, preventive, and predictive activities with necessary follow documentation.
  • Is responsible to restore equipment in a clean and organized manner upon completion of activities.
  • Supports Continuous Reliability Initiative (CRI) and participates in teams as necessary.
  • Responsible to maintain documentation for predictive analysis of equipment.
     

 

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in maintenance.  Working knowledge of facility equipment.
  • Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance Processes. 
  • Possesses computer skills and is fluent in the MVP work order system and Oracle inventory system
