Job Summary:
This position acts as the primary customer liaison, handling information and service requests, while collaborating with the Account Executive to secure profitable business opportunities. This position reports to the Customer Service Team Leader.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Professional and composed demeanor.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous telemarketing/ customer service experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Hydro’s products, markets, policies, and procedures to effectively meet customer needs.
- Partner with Account Executives and manufacturing teams to drive business development, optimize resources, and achieve customer service and profitability goals.
- Process orders, provide status updates, and deliver quotes daily to customers across multiple regional plants and teams.
- Follow up on quotes to ensure timely responses and resolution.
- Manage customer complaints from initial contact through resolution, including credit processing.
- Collaborate with teams to oversee work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the Genesis process, supporting the creation of standardized practices that reduce waste, improve cross-functional collaboration, and enhance team productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
