Job Summary:

Will have primary responsibilities supporting the creation and assembly of job routers to be used in scheduling plant resources as well as managing order processes related to change orders, balance orders, salvage material processes and shop orders.  Will be the first line of communication for Sales resources on order status, expedites and other order related questions. Ensure all Order Management process are complete per existing instructions in a safe manner. Manage new die release process and section information folder to ensure all related paper work is up to date and current revision. levels. Support customer specific program requirements as needed, and update required daily reports.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 to 3 years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of material flow and resource compliment.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement process and problem solving.
  • Excellent computer aptitude, Oracle, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker, problem-solver, decisive and proactive.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare job router packets for area schedulers. Ensure each job router contains all required documentation and is the most current version.
  • Manage order status for backorders, salvage material and shortages to provide direction for applying available material to upcoming orders, having un-needed backorders closed or trigger to go back to production for the needed balance is still required. Communicate with inside Sales providing lead time, order status and capability to meet customer requests for new and existing orders as needed.
  • Manage daily reporting and process data as required to support status and visibility to SCM related metrics.
  • Coordinate SCM department supply needs and budget allotments.
  • Cross train in other supply chain areas to add depth and back up capabilities as needed as part of internal development and succession practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
