Day Shift

Job Summary: The Die Shop Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Tool and Die Department. This position will drive safety, trouble shoot issues, maintain the people value and performance management process and collaborate with other departments to help achieve KPI’s.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience with knowledge of the extrusion process a plus
• Minimum 1 year leadership or supervisor experience
• Must have experience with ISO9000 and/or ISO/TS Quality Systems

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous aluminum extrusion experience a plus 
• Ability to use various systems and track, understand, report and improve KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with supervisors, peers and subordinates
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

• Results oriented, team player

Job Responsibilities:

•  Drive Safety to be engrained in the culture of the Die Shop employees
• May operate various milling and die correction equipment.
• Provide tool and die training to associates (operators & technicians)
• Responsible for performance management evaluation process for employees
• Uphold documented standards of performance of the employees in metal treatment, equipment care and quality.
• Prioritize shift assignments and available staffing/coverage to meet shift safety, quality and efficiency goals
• Responsible for time and attendance payroll management for subordinate employees
• Achieve shift metrics as assigned by the Department Manager
