Starting Rate of pay: $18.28/hour

Shifts Available and Hours: Day shift 5AM to 1PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fluent in reading a tape measure.
  • Set up assembly line style welding for faster production, handling several hundred welds within a single shift. 
  • Identify proper welding wire and alloy for the applicable base metal.
  • Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, and nozzles, and set up proper tension on rollers.
  • Set the proper welding parameters (voltage and wire speed).
  • Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal and Vertical Fillet Positions
  • Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment (e.g., brushing, cleaning, straightening and ensuring weld quality).

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical training with a focus in welding(preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with aluminum welds and the ability to pass a Welding Performance Test given on-site during the interview process (Q.A. determination).
  • Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Must have the ability to stand on hard surfaces for 8 hours or more per day.
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled temperatures for 8 hours or more per day.
