Shifts Available and Hours: First shift 8am start to job completion (varies)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review load information for and completeness.
  • Ensures bundles meets customer quality specifications.
  • Safely load bundles onto tractor-trailers by using the overhead hoist system.
  • Secure bundles and install sideboards or tarps as required.
  • Complete load checklists thoroughly and accurately.
  • Verify bundle weights against load sheets.
  • Complete and submit manifests to the shipping clerk.
  • Operate yard tractor to spot trailers in the yard and truck wells.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to read scales and interpret weight measurements.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Proficient in safely operating an overhead hoist system.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
