Team Lead Benelux, Global IT Support
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Role purpose
As part of their daily technical tasks, the IT Team Lead is responsible for the overall health & smooth running of computer systems’ infrastructure and locally maintained & supported business applications at the in-scope location(s) with the purpose to ensure Business users gain maximum benefits from those systems. This goal shall be achieved by full adherence to the organisation’s architecture standards & global and local operational processes, as well as by maximizing the leverage of Central IT operational services and tools.
As IT professional of Global Business Services (GBS), the IT Supervisor serves as Shared Services’ interface to the Location(s)’ Business Customers. As such, in any IT related decision making the IT Supervisor is expected to promote the Global IT standards and in general standardization of IT tools to the Business.
You will work on
- Taking active part in incident resolution
- Working with global support teams to resolve both IT infrastructure and application related issues
- Installing or participating in installation of IT infrastructure components, applications, and any other relevant tools used at the location(s)
- Monitoring and maintaining location specific infrastructure and applications following standard operating procedures
- Organizing and controlling the resources required for delivering the agreed IT services to the business locations
- Take active part in location-specific and global IT projects
- Participate in location-specific and global audits and compliance related activities
- Acting as location representative of GBS IT professionals
- Taking part in IT change management flows
- Manage and oversee work of direct reports
- Motivate team members to perform at their best
- Troubleshooting IT infrastructure incidents and application errors, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
- Setting targets to your direct reports and measuring performance against them
- Maintaining the location(s) specific part of the active directory
- Follow global architecture-, security-, and operational standards and policies
- Maintaining location specific IT documentations within your area of responsibility

Your qualifications and skills
- At least 5 years of experienceon the field of IT Infrasturcture
- IT Technician qualification is a must, IT Engineer is preferred
- Fluent English and Dutch language knowledge are must have, any other language is a plus
- Experience in basic Vendor management processes
- Experience and capability to coordinate staff on multiple locations
- Proven leadership capabilities
- ITIL Certification
- Proven experience in network support; preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Understand network security principles and best practices in an industrial
- Traveling upon business needs
