Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for executing capital projects safely, on time, and within budget while preserving the overall health of all assets within the facility. The Maintenance Manager is part of the plant Lead Team and is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure maintenance work is being done safely and meeting quality standards while staying within budget and determined timelines
  • Implement, sponsor, and support all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices
  • Support planned work preparation and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Maintain facilities and grounds
  • Ensure compliance with state on water discharge
  • Participate and facilitate problem solving sessions between operations, engineering and maintenance to eliminate repetitive failures

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of CMMS, MVP and/or other computer applications
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Understand blueprints
  • Knowledge in PLC’s
  • Proficient in Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic series associated with equipment 
  • Project management experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and guide others in decision making and problem solving

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Leadership
  • Engineering degree preferred or combination of technical school and experience in similar role
