Who we are looking for

For Feltre Casthouse Department, we are looking for a

CASTHOUSE PROCESS ENGINEER

Main responsibilities

• Ensures the analysis and optimization of the Casthouse process data, from scrap receipt to customers shipments.

• Optimizes working processes and times, defining how the process & lead time are broken down to analyse operating execution time and machine setup or ordinary maintenance time. 

• Defines the ideal conditions for equipment use in terms of activity sequencing, checks actions and machines to be used. 

• Drives continuous improvement. Checks the efficiency of the production plans developed in production planning, analyzing melting/alloying/liquid metal treatments/homogenization/billet sawing melting process data. Reporting the key processes related to Quality, Recovery and Ingot Consumption.

Finally, we require:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical/Scientific fields.

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• At least English C1 Level.

• Excellent knowledge of the main Windows software, Office suite.

• Familiarity with data processing/graphics/performance analysis/cartography.

• Dialogue and people involvement skills.
