Die Handler Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote safety within the team, track safety observations per team and complete weekly targets.
  • Work with Extrusion teams to ensure COTD items are staged at the press and updated at the end of shifts.
  • Work with flow of daily tasks to ensure all daily tasks are complete with the team.
  • Point of contact for any issues that may arise.
  • Help track PPE needed for team and supply as needed.
  • Work with team on continues improvements through 5S.
  • Any other items needed from supervisor or other managers.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus.
  • Crane or mobile equipment certification or the ability to obtain a certification through Hydro’s Training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy.
