HR Clerk (Part Time)

Job Location: Gainesville, GA

 

Summary: Perform administrative, clerical and other necessary support tasks to assist busy Human Resources Department.

This position requires confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness in all duties assigned.  Position will support, execute and maintain processes within the Human Resources Department. Additional activities and tasks may include assistance and participation in company events such as training classes and community involvement activities. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical support to the Human Resources Department with specific assigned duties and as needed.
  • Assist with special projects, data entry, mass mailings, etc.
  • General clerical duties such as filing, scanning, greeting visitors, keeping bulletin boards up-to-date, reports, maintaining training records, and problem solving,
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. 
  • Will participate and adhere to the Hydro’s safety program. 
  • Assist with data information gathering.
  • Assist with performance review process for hourly employees. 
  • Assist with system updates via data entry.
  • Maintain personnel records. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum one year clerical/administrative experience in a “fast-paced” environment, preferably in manufacturing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and follow through to completion are required.
  • Candidates must have good working knowledge of standard office equipment and intermediate knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel locally to support community functions as assigned.
  • Ability to periodically work on off shifts for various functions, training, and other activities.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all data and information.
  • Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations and company policies.

 

 

Education and Work Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in Human Resource function preferred
