Waste Treatment Operator

Shifts Available and Hours: Night shift 7PM-7AM EOWEO

Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.00/hour extra

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and start up washer.
  • Keep equipment clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment for proper operation.
  • Perform hourly checks on chemical levels, including titration checks of chemical applied to metal going through washers.
  • Start waste treatment system to ensure efficiency.
  • Inventory chemicals and report usage.
  • Place hooks/rods in burn-off oven, remove and clean for line use.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a Wastewater Treatment position.
  • Wastewater Treatment License preferred. Must have the ability to pass the Industrial Wastewater exam within six (6) months to become licensed.
