About the job and responsibility

ROLE PURPOSE:

This position is responsible to manage the Legal entity accounting and compliances

Responsibilities:

Legal entity

  • Managing routine activities in Hub accounting – Concur expenses handling, vendor invoice processing, payroll booking, revenue billing, fixed assets capitalisation, etc.
  • Approving reconciliations and journal entries
  • Month end closing, HFM reporting
  • Compliance Management including timely TDS payment and filing returns, GST returns, GST refund, Transfer Pricing report, ITR filing, replying to notices, etc.
  • Preparation of financial statements, Handling Statutory and Tax audit, coordinating with the auditors, preparing the PBC and schedules and adhering to the timelines.
  • Working with the consultants for various compliance assignments
  • Working with the Company secretary to facilitate Companies act compliances
  • Ensuring strong internal controls
  • Global work
  • Learning and handling the Bank reconciliation process and Fixed assets accounting

Required qualifications and skills

  • Work Experience: 12+ years work experience or degree based in finance
  • Industry Experience: BPO industry
  • Education: B.Com/ M.Com/ M.B.A./ CA
  • Licensing/Certification : Chartered Accountant-is an advantage
  • Functional Knowledge: Accounting and Taxation
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of integrated financial software
  • Language: Fluent English
