Senior Professional - Applications Management

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
 

About the job and your team

•    Participate to implementation of Process Control system “IMPEX” on new Hydro locations in Europe and in Brazil.
•    Support all existing Hydro locations covered with IMPEX, with the IMPEX team : 73 presses, 37 locations, 18 countries. Supports means, incidents, bugs, trainings, questions, request for change, improvement, communication on new modules, best practice sharing, documentation, testing, creation of new reports (PowerBI, Birt).
•    Functional Specialist Western Europe will cover as a priority Austria, Germany and Benelux

You will work on

•    Project management and reporting for IMPEX implementation on new Presses:

 

o    Define project planning and all necessary documentations with PMO and follow up project plan and cost
o    Define specific needs for new presses (depending on equipment)
o    Define integration with ERP system / Quality system if necessary
o    Follow-up compliance of PLC program with internal or external PLC programmers
o    Configure applications with specific requirements
o    Train operators and middle management on site
o    Specify needs for additional modules or improvements on existing modules
o    Participate to Go Live on site

 

•    Participate to support in BAU (Business As Usual) for locations already installed with IMPEX

 

o    Trainings, questions on applications
o    Specifiy and follow-up on SPR (Small Project Request)
o    Follow up and fix incidents together with the technical team
o    Communication on improvement and new modules – Documentations – Best practice sharing
o    New report creation (Power BI, Birt)

 

•    Ensure to work in compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies and standardized operating procedures.

Your qualifications and skills

•    1 to 3 years of experience
•    Master/Bachelor/Vocational Degree
•    Fluent in English and German is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
•    Conflict handling
•    Communication
•    Customer service orientation
•    Service mindedness
•    Attention to detail
•    Knowledge on databases and SQL language
•    PowerBI
