Technical Specialist, Process Control

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
 

About the job and your team

•    Participate to developpement and enhancement of Process Control system “IMPEX” 
•    Support all existing Hydro locations covered with IMPEX, with the IMPEX team : 73 presses, 37 locations, 18 countries. Supports means, incidents, bugs, trainings, questions, request for change, improvement, technical documentation, testing, creation of new reports (PowerBI, Birt), database administration, and monitoring alarms on servers and PCs.

You will work on

•    Development of improvement on IMPEX and new modules

 

  •  Development in C++, C# (wpf), java
  •  Integration with ERP system / Quality system 
  • Database administration (Oracle)
  • Connection with PLC (OPC protocol) to read and write PLC data

 

•    Participate to support in BAU (Business As Usual) for locations already installed with IMPEX

 

  • Trainings, questions on applications
  • Develop SPR (Small Project Request)
  • Follow up and fix incidents 
  • New report creation (Power BI, Birt)

 

•    Ensure to work in compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies and standardized operating procedures.

Your qualifications and skills

•    1 to 3 years of experience
•    Master/Bachelor/Vocational Degree
•    Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
•    Conflict handling

•    Java
•    Oracle database
•    Knowledge on databases and SQL language
