Health and Safety Intern

About the job and your team

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Intern who wants to join our HSE's team in our Plant in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona, Spain. If you are someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment, a true perfectionist, an organization freak and are passionate about Health, Safety, Sustainability and environmental processes, Hydro is your place!

You will work on

Responsibilities

  • Support an execution of Health and Safety administrative tasks according to the Spanish law.
  • Inspect jobs and workplaces and support H&S Technicians during risk assessments development.
  • Design work instructions and revise them periodically.
  • Support during investigation of occupational accidents and diseases.
  • Support on trainings and promoting best practices to employees at all levels in all topics related to Health and Safety
  • Health surveillance support.
  • Follow up on the activities to be carried out by the external H&S provider (risk assessments, medical checks, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other Team members to ensure the compliance with H&S requirements.

Your qualifications and skills

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying for a master’s degree in risk prevention or you have it and you are looking for your first working experiencie.
  • You can stay for a minimum of 4 months in a full time (exact timing to be discussed).
  • You have good technical and interpersonal skill set and Organizational and planning capacity.
  • You must have a vehicle to go to the plant.
