Electrostatic Painter

Summary: The Electrostatic Painter will report directly to the Paint Line Supervisor in Mississauga, ON.  This role is for those who are interested in working in an aluminum extrusion facility. The candidate will be working in a manufacturing environment.    

Job Responsibilities:

  • Run the paint equipment independently.
  • Mix the paint as per formula requirements.
  • Update records for paint inventory.
  • able to operate a scissor lift to check quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Previous work experience as a painter
  • Knowledge of electrostatic paint procedures is a strong asset.
  • Able to read and interpret production drawing and check material to ensure conformance to customer quality requirements
  • Able to pass an eye test to check for color vision
  • Able to operator a scissor lift to check quality
  • Capable of driving a forklift with appropriate licenses and training
  • Comply with quality, safety and production requirements
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Read, write and speak basic English

 

Education and Work Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
