Job Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist will provide Subject Matter expertise in SAP Employee Central as part of the Global Business Services Human Resources (GBS HR) team.  The selected person will provide guidance and support to the HR organization and deliver solutions and services for HR processes, data & systems. The position will work closely with the business to ensure that our people, processes and services run smoothly and consistently.  They will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics and provide support and maintain HRIS applications and modules.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HRIS experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP EC modules, preferred.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and UltiPro (UKG) preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, and Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task when appropriate.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

  • Serves as a functional and operational point of contact for all HRIS users and issues.
  • Provides first line support to customers including but not limited to answers HR policy questions and provide resolution of simple requests and/or redistribution of complex requests.
  • Performs system configuration maintenance, including testing and implementing changes to HRIS system in partnership with IT.
  • Creates and maintains documentation and standard methodologies on program process maps, templates, and workflows.
  • Ensures system processes are well documented, regularly updated and communicated.
  • Acts as change management champion for systems and processes, communicating HRIS process and policy updates and changes across HR.
  • Coordinates and assists with training stakeholders on HRIS systems as needed.
  • Provides assistance with system implementation/changes by helping to translate stakeholder needs to business needs to implementation project team.

 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resources information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs.
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports.

 

Data Integrity & System Maintenance

  • Maintains data integrity in the HRIS, regularly coordinate data audits, system implementations, upgrades, modifications, and clean-up efforts.
  • Maintains online electronic files via People Doc by Ultimate Software.
  • Enters New Hires/Rehires and employee changes (promotions, job changes, position changes).
  • Monitors daily error payroll Integration system reporting, as well as data audits
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS systems issues.
