HR Coordinator

Job Location: Mountain Top, PA


The HR Coordinator provides quality HR compliance and administrative support to the HR Team, clients and teammates. This support is based from the HR Department. They are responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Department and clients on various projects.




Key responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain HR Compliance Knowledge
  • Begins to develop a current knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in the HR field.
  • Develops a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resources.
  • Keeps abreast of Document retention requirements
  • Pursue an Attitude of Learning and Development.
  • Attends HR meetings relative to HR professional development.
  • Cultivate interpersonal skills
  • Develop organization and critical thinking skill
  • Foster time management skills
  • Developing relationships with employees
  • Building Culture and creating a positive work environment
  • Payroll Support
  • Assist with team building events and all company functions
  • Education, training and developing communication skills


Key requirements



  • Must have passion around safety.  Must drive a safety culture where safety is the number one priority for all employees.  Knowledge of Hydro safety processes and procedures.  Proven ability to intervene, recognize and eliminate hazards.



  • Actively pursuing career or degree in Human Resources administration, office support, or related field



  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Exceptional written and oral communication skills



  • Pursue an Attitude of Learning and Development
  • Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
  • Ability to correctly make decisions involving client issues/ problems including when to escalate the problem to a more senior consultant
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
  • Interest in how Human Resources supports a company goals and the keys to success
  • Reliable transportation
  • A background check and pre-employment drug screening may be required.


Candidates must be available to start in January 2022 and work minimum of 20 hours per week.
