Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will act as the key daily interface with our customers. Works with customers, account executives and departments to take orders and ensure they are moved through production to customers.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Prior Manufacturing experience desirable.
- Customer Service training or experience.
- Experience in selling or working with value add, fabrication, & anodize preferred.
- Excellent Customer service/communication skills (both written & verbal) and work well with all employees at all levels, willingness to learn new processes and work with limited supervision.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP.
Job Responsibilities:
- Successful bidder will be accountable for all safety, health and environmental issues related to this position.
- To acquire and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the company’s products, markets, policies, organizational, and administrative procedures in order to respond to customer needs.
- Works closely with the Account Executive and manufacturing contacts to develop and pursue business and prioritize internal resources for existing customers to support Hydro customer service and profitability goals.
- Responsible for entering orders, providing status checks and daily quotations to customers across multiple platforms.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain up to date customer files.
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes.
