Architect SAP Supply Chain Logistics
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Global Business services IT in Hydro are supporting all business areas, both in infrastructure and application related operations and projects. The SAP area is in an exciting period of technological transformation, as our IT landscape is changing rapidly with the use of S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology platform.
The SAP team will, together with the business, continue to transform the SAP landscape for the 35,000 employees globally over the next few years, as the S/4HANA systems are seen as a key enabler for the continuous digital transformation in Hydro.
We are now looking get a colleague on board as a senior Architect SAP Supply Chain into the Hydro SAP Team. As a member of the Hydro SAP team, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the business in designing, implementing, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes.
Work location: Oslo (Norway), Portugal or Hungary
Areas of responsibility
- Work closely with the business to understand their supply chain requirements in Logistics and define the system architecture and integration strategies within your area
- Design and implement end-to-end supply chain processes in SAP S/4HANA TM & EWM, and SAP Business Network
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and configuration of SAP Supply Chain Logistics solutions to meet business needs
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in SAP Supply Chain Logistics technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maximize the value of the Hydro SAP landscape through development of common solutions and standards. Ensure reuse of solutions across the business in Hydro
- Some support work when existing BAU team are not able to solve tickets
Desired qualifications
- Proven experience as an SAP Supply Chain Architect or a similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing SAP Supply Chain Logistics Solutions.
- Strong knowledge and experience with implementing SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP Warehouse Management Solutions (EWM) and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
- Experience in partner collaboration tools like SAP Business Network for Logistics is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- As a person, you should have a proactive and structured approach to activities and projects, and you manage to combine hands-on work with an understanding of the big picture. You enjoy collaboration and communication and the ability to pass on competence to others and build relationships with different parts of Hydro, partners, and external vendors.
