The Hydro Graduate Program - The starting point for your Hydro career
In Hydro we have focus on hiring and developing the workforce of tomorrow. Every year we have several Graduate positions, where we are looking for young professionals early in their careers. All positions are permanent, within different business units and areas of expertise, but all graduate positions will take part in the graduate program. 

 

Graduate Engineer Digital Maintenance Systems – All sites 
Asset Management is a department with 19 employees supporting Hydro Aluminium Metal plants. We have expertise in High Voltage facilities and infrastructure, robotics/automation and project execution. In addition to the subject matter experts, we have two teams within the department. One team of reliability engineers working on digitalization of maintenance and asset management, Digital and Reliability Team. A second team responsible for supporting the plants in the development and use of our computerized maintenance system, SAP Team.

 

Area of Responsibility
Hydro Aluminium have lately developed and taken into use several new digital use in the Asset Management and Maintenance area.  The area of responsibility is to participate in future development, implementation and increased usage of these tool. You will also have an important role in developing our holistic vision for an end-to-end asset management and maintenance system, where workforce efficiency is optimized and failures are detected early allowing for an coordination with production and resources planning. The goal is to minimize both cost and profit loss while having control of risks. 
  
There is two main area, the digital work management and the development towards predictive maintenance involving asset monitoring and early failure detection, and the integration of these two areas. 


Qualifications

  • Minimum  Bachelor degree preferable Master’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline like Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Business or the equivalent or RAMS.
  • Skills/Competencies: 
  • Knowledge in a programming language (Python, C++, Mathlab, etc.) and Cloud Services in a Cloud Platform is preferable
