Group Financial Controller, Consolidation and Accounting

You will be part of a highly skilled team working with resolving IFRS/accounting related issues, in close cooperation with business area representatives and group functions. The team performs consolidation of Hydro’s Group financial statements and the business areas/segments.

You will work on

As part of the team, you will:

• stay continuously updated on developments within IFRS, and contribute to the implementation of new accounting rules in the Hydro Group.
• participate in preparing annual financial statements and quarterly reports.
• drive processes and secure resolutions related to accounting issues.
• act as a point of contact and perform consolidation in cooperation with finance teams.
• participate in continuous process improvements.
• participate in relevant corporate and/or business area projects.

Your qualifications and skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum three years’ experience with consolidation and accounting related issues is required, preferably in a medium/large sized corporation
• Strong IFRS competence
• Effective English skills, both verbal and written, is a requirement.
