HR Business Partner - Energy
Hydro Energy has more than 100 years of experience in production and operation of renewable energy. Today, we are one of the three largest operators of hydro power production in Norway, and we have a growing power market presence in the Nordics and Brazil. Our heritage provides the platform to develop new business opportunities within renewable energy, energy as a service, green hydrogen, and the whole battery value chain. 


HR is the people partner of the Energy units, with responsibility for enabling Hydro’s expanding Energy strategy through its employees. As our HR Business Partner, you will be an integrated member of the whole Energy organization, working together with our different business units, leaders, and employees. Your role will be to advise, guide and support line management on people matters and organizational topics, using your strong business acumen. 


You will report to Lead HR Business Partner Energy and be a part of the HR Energy team of five. 


Key tasks
The role requires you to work both on a strategic level with business and organizational development, building teams and cultural awareness, as well as with operationalizing our people processes within areas such as performance management, employee satisfaction, retention, legal enquiries, conflict resolution, on-boarding and off-boarding of employees. You will contribute to our busy people agenda and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the Energy units, and across Hydro. 

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree within a relevant field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience within HR, ideally from a growth- or startup company. Fluency in English is a requirement, and we regard experience from an international organization as highly beneficial.

You build trustful relations and communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and you thrive when interacting with people. Your colleagues actively seek your advice, and characterize you as collaborative, credible, and knowledgeable. You have a structured and methodical approach, and the ability to handle parallel tasks efficiently with an inspired attitude. You are curious and positive by nature, and you balance your influential skills and high level of service with accuracy.

Additional information
The position is based in Oslo and will require some travel, depending on the tasks and projects.
