Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
About the department
This role is located in Hydro’s Global Learning Center (GLC). GLC is a part of Global Business Services, supporting the People Strategy in creating a learning culture across Hydro worldwide. The center provides professional solutions in organizational and leadership development, digital learning, functional learning system support, and local learning needs. Today, the Global Learning Center consists of approximately 30 employees across four locations, serving Hydro globally. As demand for our services continues to grow, we want you to apply and join as a Team Lead for Organization and Leadership Development.
This is a temporary role until 31.03.2026 and we offer an opportunity to make an impact on our global workforce by designing and executing developmental workshops and training programs in Hydro.

Key responsibilities
- Team leadership: Lead and support a team of currently 3 colleagues located in different countries, ensuring the successful delivery of organizational and leadership services.
- Leadership and organizational support: Secure all leadership and organizational development deliverables within the growing scope of the Global Learning Center, as part of Global Business Services HR. Oversee areas such as leadership development, mentorship programs, talent programs, inclusive leadership trainings, teambuilding workshops, and more.
- Partnerships: Work closely with HR BPs, Group HR, Head of GBS HR, and other relevant departments to align and develop strategic and practical tasks that meet business needs.
- Customer feedback: Collaborate with the Head of the Global Learning Center to systematically collect, analyze, and respond to customer feedback, driving continuous improvement.
- Customer relations: Manage internal customer and partner relations, including the sales process, and participate in relevant partner meeting forums.
- Strategy support: Contribute to the annual regional and global People/HR strategy definition process and follow up on agreed deliverables.
Responsibilities as a leader:
- Supervision: Provide supervisory direction and development for team members, ensuring they reach their full potential and deliver excellent service. Step into the execution of operations where needed.
- Performance evaluation: Define and follow up on performance evaluations and development plans for the team.
- Workload management: Ensure effective prioritization and allocation of workload and case handling within the team. Build a business case for adding new resources when business needs result in increased capacity requirements.
- Continuous improvement: Review and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for process, people, or technology improvements. Lead and participate in project work focused on continuous improvement.
