Entry Level Machine Operator-Fabrication

Starting Rate of pay: $20.00/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: 12 hrs. Shift Days (6a-6p) and Nights (6p-6a) - 3 days on/4 days off - Enjoy every other weekend off!
8 hrs. Shift - 2nd and 3rd shift available
Shift Premium: Night shift - $1.00/hour extra

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate turning, milling, chamfering, sawing, punching and/or robotic equipment as assigned. Entry level machine operations and production assembly.
- Understands that performing job tasks in a safe manner is the highest priority.
- Comply with Lockout/tagout procedures.
- Read and understand department JSA’s.
- Clean work piece before and after machining.
- Visually inspects work piece before and after machining for defects.
- Fully understand Process Instructions and equipment operating conditions.
- Gauges work piece for customer specifications before and after machining, as needed, with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
- Complies will all levels of safety controls.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
- Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their specific position.
- Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to their specific position with precise dexterity.
- Background in the operation of manufacturing, production, machine operations, and machine tools/equipment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours in a 12-hour shift with 2-hour intra-cell rotation.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability move 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work in noisy, and hot/cold environment
