Shifts Available and Hours: 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM Continental Shift
Shift Premium: $1.00/HR
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying and programming PLCs.
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience using Control logic and ladder logic.
- Must be able to draw out PLC/Electrical circuits.
- Troubleshoot, design, upgrades and installs electrical equipment, circuits, and systems.
- Improves reliability and uptime of all equipment. Takes a proactive approach to equipment issues with preventative maintenance mentality.
- Research supplies, parts, and machines needed to complete work orders.
- Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Documents work completed. Contributes to upkeep and updating of required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-year Technical Degree or Certification in Electronics or Automation/Programming functions preferred.
- Experience with supporting projects involving PLCs by overseeing contractors and / or writing the PLC and HMI programming themselves.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical, including advanced electrical (three phase 460 volt and higher) design, sizing of components and installations, etc.
- Working knowledge of electrical components troubleshooting and repair.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems including motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, etc.
- Must be able to read, communicate, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, equipment files, etc.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization skills and self-starter motivation. Prioritization skills in alignment with Plant priorities. Continuous Improvement mindset and results oriented.
- Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.)
- Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
