Starting Rate of pay: $ 28.00 - $45.00/hr (DOE)
Shifts Available and Hours:
EOWEO Night Shift
6pm-6am
Training will be on Day shift
Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Summary:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and aluminum extrusion production machines and equipment. Operate a highly automated extrusion press-line. Lead team members, as well as report on efficiency of presses. Understanding of flow in the department. Including lot tickets, press schedules, tooling, log inventory, material handing at the saw, and through the age oven.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical troubleshooting and interprets electrical diagrams and symbols.
- Reads and interprets PLC programs. Trouble shoots problems in PLC hardware and software.
- Identifies stored energy and performs all Lockout/Tag-out procedures according to company policy.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Participates and is fully engaged in continuous reliability improvement of all equipment and processes.
- Reads and interprets hydraulic, schematic, basic electric, electronic and OHM laws.
- Provides routine maintenance on hydraulic systems such as Oil Gear, Rex Roth, Racine, Vickers, etc.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 2 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment, prior knowledge of extrusion department preferred.
- Basic reading and mathematics skills
