Pay Range:                 $80,000 - $99,840 DOE + overtime available  

 

Shifts Available and Hours: 7:30PM – 7:30AM

 

Job Summary: Repair and Maintain Electrical equipment related to production and circuits installed in the facilities. They include Automated Production Machinery, cranes, lighting, breaker panels and MCC switchgear.

 

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician, Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician, General Journeyman Electrician)
  • 4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Familiar with Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s and Frequency Drives
  • Some PLC programming a plus
  • Ability to read blue prints and schematics
  • Strong mechanical abilities

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance as needed
  • Communicate with production personnel regarding equipment status as needed
  • Monitor and PM/PDM equipment as needed
  • Operate CMMS system to document work performed and time associated with repairs
  • Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment.
  • Assists with safety system upgrades of equipment
  • Performs electrical troubleshooting and repairs production machinery
  • Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems
  • Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment
  • Assists with safety system upgrades of equipment
  • Uses Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s and Frequency Drives
  • Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems,
  • Uses knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, codes and ordinances pertaining to work, safety practices, safe work methods and safety regulations
  • Cooperates and contributes to the creation of a safe, secure, and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the company’s environmental obligations and goals
