SAP Consultant, MM/LE

The Consultant, SAP MM / LE will support the roll out of HBS SAP solution across Hydro’s plants, as well as Business as Usual support for the companies already using the solution.
Will also be responsible to describe needed functionalities in HANA compliance code to rewrite some of the z-programs that we use
 

You will work on

We are looking to hire an SAP Consultant for the areas of MM and LE (knowledge of SD is also added value for this position) to join us in realizing Hydro’s ambitious SAP roadmap.

Strong knowledge of the following areas is mandatory:
•    MM customization
•    Purchase Pricing
•    Subcontracting activities
•    Vendor Consignment stock
•    MRP executions and ATP checks
•    Variant Configuration
•    Understand ABAP code. Capable of reading Z-Code and debug client specific code

This person will be part of the support and project team, work closely with other team members to ensure the operationality of our system, implementation of improvements and continue to rollout our SAP template to HBS companies.

As a person, you should have a proactive and structured approach to activities and projects, and you manage to combine hands-on work with an understanding of the big picture. You are a collaborative team player with good communication skills and the ability to pass on competence to others and build relationships with different parts of Hydro, other consultants, Key users and End users.

Communication and teaching skills are important for this position.

Your qualifications and skills

6 years plus working with SAP (ECC 6) in a hands-on project environment and support activities
•    Solid experience in SAP MM and LE
•    Good knowledge in SAP SD
•    Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
•    Extensive experience with SAP configuration
•    Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
•    Understand ABAP code. Capable of reading Z-Code and debug client specific code

•    Knowledge on S4/HANA, preferable with migration projects from ECC 6
•    Experience in retail and distribution business.
•    Experience with SAP configurable materials
•    CA or B Tech / MBA from eminent institutions
•    SAP MM Certification 
•    Expert in-depth understanding of SAP MM and LE functions.
•    Understanding of SAP SD functions
•    Expert SAP knowledge in above mentioned areas / Trouble Shooting Skills.
•    Important to have an analytic mind, experience in development activities is important
•    Strong spoken and written English
•    Team Player; Deliverables Oriented; Good capacity to manage his time.
•    SAP implementation and post live support experience in multinational environment
•    Customizing knowledge
•    ABAP Debug experience
•    Integration understanding (iDocs, EDI messages)
•    Skilled Office 365 user
•    Strong oral and written communication skills 
•    Team player
•    Able to travel up to 50%
