Machine Operator

2nd shift Machine Operator, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday with overtime during the week up to 12hrs, and weekends.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Work from schedules, production orders, prints and specifications. Verify alloy and length of billet and set heater controls to proper specifications 

• Operation of the press with require multifunction operation of multiple control panels in sequence to ensure proper operation. 

• Make adjustments to press and peripheral equipment to set-up product layout guides and tooling and set and adjust parameters to ensure the material meets customers specs. 

• Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility. 

• Assist in the process examination and quality documentation and determine causes for problems, root cause analysis and recommend solutions follow up to help establish product & customer issues

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
