Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work 2nd shift hours, Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Overtime throughout the week and Saturday as needed. Not to exceed 60 hrs. per week.
  • Forklift experience desired but not required.
  • Current and Valid Osha Forklift Operators certificate
  • Previous experience working in a heavy industrial and or manufacturing environment
  • Certified Production Technician
  • LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations
  • Ability to think critically and theoretically

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties associated with packing totes and entering them into the A/X Dynamics system.
  • Perform duties to move coils, boxes, goods and materials.
  • Maintain stock and 5S in satellite cardboard and supply areas.
  • Locate material and safely operate forklift to load and position totes. 
  • Proficient use of equipment required by job function
  • Complete packing system and other documentation noting alloy, size, weight and customer information for labels as required.
  • Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting operator repairs to supervisor.
