Production Operator, 12-hour shift

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work from schedules, production orders, prints and specifications.
  • Verify parameters of operation of an oven, lubrication machine, coiler and other equipment are within required parameters and customer specifications.
  • Operation of multiple control panels to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
  • Assist in the process examination and quality documentation.
  • Assist in equipment validations, safety and quality audits.
  • Able to operate a computer efficiently for data entry.
  • Operation of various transportation equipment (cranes, fork-lift, powered stackers)

Bonus: Discretionary Performance Related Pay bonus plan with a maximum opportunity of $1,800.00 annually.



Shifts Available and Hours:   12-hour rotating shift (5:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM)



Education and Experience Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions and the ability to use a calculator.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and heat probes, where interpretation is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend reference material such as production orders, prints and specifications
  • Ability to exercise judgment to set up, adjust and operate industrial equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in computers and data entry.
