Job Summary: The Tax Accountant will have a hands-on role in all facets of the tax department, including compliance and planning involving federal, state, and international tax issues, as well as assisting with R&D and transfer pricing documentation.  This position will be responsible for ongoing communication with other departments to assist with gathering tax compliance data as well as involved in building and maintaining new tax processes.   

The Tax Accountant will work as part of a lean tax team wherein the candidate will be afforded ample opportunities to learn while also being given opportunities to own elements of the tax compliance and tax planning processes.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

• 1-3 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax environment
• CPA and/or MST desirable
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
• Experience with HFM, Oracle, and SAP would be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with all income tax matters, including data gathering, research and analysis of applicable tax laws, and ensuring company compliance with tax reporting/filing requirements
• Support US transfer pricing documentation
• Prepare tax depreciation computations
• Prepare estimated tax payment computations
• Respond to state tax notices
• Maintain tax calendar
