L3 Specialist, Network Operations

As part of the Hydro Network Operations Team, the L3 Specialist main responsibility is the management of the
- WAN (SDWAN);
- LAN (local area network)/WLAN;
- DDI services (DHCP and IP address management);
- Firewall management;
- and any additional services which might be added to the future;
- Additionally, participate in network related projects in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of corporate network / Incident and change management (3rd level support);
- Vendor management;
- Manage and operate LAN (Local Area Network) and wireless network of all remote Hydro sites globally;
- Handling daily mid and high level escalations;
- Support architectural decision;
- Create and maintain network documentation;
- Support the team members in their daily technical questions;
- Participate in internal network & security projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in network operations / project team in a multinational environment;
- Experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN, Firewall, VPN, DHCP, IPAM, Cloud proxies;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred;
- Experience in IT Shared Services environment is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bsc. degree in Computer Science, Network engineering or a related area is preferred;
- CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent knowledge is required;
- Knowledge of Cisco WLC and ISE equipments is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Palo Alto equipments is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Windows based DHCP and/or Infoblox system is an advantage;
- Fluent English is mandatory.
