Service Center Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Manager in the safe, efficient, and profitable daily operations of the Service Center, including shop floor, office personnel, and logistics. This position reports directly to the Service Center Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of people management or industry experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Customer Service, Budgeting, Inventory Control, Logistics, and warehouse functions.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with bath enclosures preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Train employees on Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Safety Procedures (JSP).
  • Fill in for team members during vacations or other absences.
  • Communicate with customers and process credit card transactions.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Support DOT compliance for drivers and equipment.
  • Perform warehouse duties as needed.
