Job Summary: Operate and make needed adjustments on various Shoda’s as instructed by the supervisor. Responsible for producing quality pieces and operating all equipment in the safest manner possible.
Starting Rate of pay: $21.63/hour to start plus $1.00 shift differential
Shifts Available and Hours: 3rd shift (Sunday- Thursday) 10pm-6:30am
Required Education/Experience:
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to perform several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to make minor offset adjustments
- Must have knowledge of machine recovery procedures
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a Productivity and efficiency rating of 85%
- Make periodic checks to ensure assembled component parts match the samples supplied by the Supervisor, or Set-Up Person. Perform all required SPC.
- Make certain all-applicable safety equipment is in proper working order before operating a tool.
- Stop production and contact the Supervisor when quality problems are detected.
- Inform maintenance personnel and/or toolmakers when machines and/or tools break down.
- Ensure that correct Hydro part numbers, customer part numbers, and piece counts are marked on each rack, cart, or skid that is sent to the next internal operation or packaged for shipment.
- Properly identify and account for all scrap before leaving the area or the general production area. Complete all required documentation.
- When conditions dictate, overtime may be required (with little or no prior notification).
