Maintenance Strategic Asset Owner

Job Location: St. Augustine, FL

 

Summary: The Maintenance Strategic Asset Owner is responsible for maintaining the full life cycle of the assigned asset. The Asset Owner will keep accurate, cost effective parts inventory, schedule all PM and PDM to meet 100% compliance, makes sure that work is completed on the assigned asset and provides continuous improvement of strategic asset through detection of proper operation, maintenance practices and workmanship. Position requires experience in plant equipment operation and maintenance. Prime candidate will have leadership experience and work to develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promotes operation’s care for strategic asset. Increases involvement of operation to PMs and PDMs activities.   
  • Owns the plan and scheduling manning, logistics and execution of planned work
  • Monitors and maintains a cost-effective inventory of the critical spare parts for the accountable asset
  • Utilizes reliability-based maintenance techniques for continuously improved equipment performance and maximized cost savings.
  • Develops a pilot area to demonstrate continuous reliability improvement principles and plan the proliferation from pilot to full scale of strategic asset.
  • The critical asset has a flight plan to address the top five equipment issues and the top five structural downtime issues for the asset line. Applies RCA methodology with operation counter partner and reliability leader to eliminate failure root cause.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • A must is plant equipment operations and maintenance experience.  Proven experience in creating highly collaboration working relationships with operations leaders.  Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Expertise of Mechanical and/or electrical principles
  • Computerized Management System MVP
  • Production and Maintenance operations
  • Plan for multi-craft crews and to supervise or train personnel when required
  • Organized / Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Work with limited supervision Demonstrated ability to work in and through teams, with all levels of the work force.
  • Team Player & Collaboration attitude
  • Excellent Communication (written & verbal)
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to work independently, plan and to train personnel when required
  • Systematic and uses analytical skills to investigate equipment failures
  • Lifting: Frequent lifting of objects up to 15-25 pounds

Infrequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds

 

Education and Work Requirements:

  • A college degree in a business or engineering discipline is preferred
