Change Manger, PMO (1 year fixed-term contract)

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

About the job and your team

 

You as a Change Manager will be play a key role in ensuring projects meet their defined objectives by increasing user adoption of the change (changed service/platform/way of working/process/ etc.) brought along by the projects.

You will work on

 

  • Applies the change management strategy set by the leader of Organisational Change Management
  • Uses the recommended change management toolset and processes to ensure high quality change management activities are carried out
  • Supports employees, contractors and the management team who are impacted by a certain project change, following the established change management procedure
  • Continuously focuses on the people side of changes, and communicates between project teams and impacted stakeholders
  • Sets up plans and actions to mitigate resistance towards the changes brought along by projects
  • Acts as a coach for senior leaders and directors in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor
  • Provides direct support and coaching to front-line managers / change champions as they help their direct reports through transitions and will drive the network of change agents facilitating change process at the business sid
  • Assess the change impact
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Create actionable OCM deliverables and integrate them into project plan
  • Support training efforts
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Track and report issues
  • Contribute to the effective measurement of success metrics and monitor change progress

Your qualifications and skills

 

  • Master/Bachelor/Vocational Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multinational, preferably in shared services or in PMO organisation
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Change Management knowledge, certificate (preferably PROSCI) and/or experience
  • Project Management experience and knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to see through and understand organizational issues and challenges
  • Cultural sensitivity – the Change Manager in a multinational environment should be able to navigate and understand diverse cultural nuances that may influence the change adoption process
