Consultant, SAP FI/CO

Global Business services IT in Hydro are supporting all business areas, both in infrastructure and application related operations and projects.  The SAP Services Organization in GBS, with more than 100 employees, is in an exciting period of technological transformation, as our IT landscape is changing rapidly with the use of cloud technologies. Platforms such as Office 365, Azure, SAP S/4HANA and software-defined networking are in full development, along with other programs in the fields of analytics and Industry 4.0. Role purpose:

We are looking for an SAP Consultant for the areas of FI and CO to join us in realizing Hydro's ambitious SAP roadmap. 

This person will be part of the support and project team, work closely with other team members to ensure the operationality of our system, implementation of improvements and continue to rollout our SAP template to HBS companies.

Responsibility:

• Support the roll out of SAP solution across Hydro’s plants, as well as Business as Usual support for the companies already using the solution
• Be a part of the support and project team, work closely with other team members to ensure the operationality of our system, implementation of improvements and continue to rollout our SAP template to HBS companies.
• Proactive and structured approach to activities and projects
• Manage to combine hands-on work with an understanding of the big picture
• Build relationships with different parts of Hydro, other consultants, Key users and End users.
• Strong knowledge of the following areas is mandatory: General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, General Procurement, Invoice Verification
• Understand ABAP code. Capable of reading Z-Code and debug client specific code

Requirements:

• 6 years plus working with SAP (ECC 6) in a hands-on project environment and support activities
• Knowledge on S4/HANA, preferable with migration projects from ECC 6
• Solid experience in SAP FI / CO
• Knowledge about integration form SD and MM to FI
• Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
• Extensive experience with SAP configuration
• Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
• Understand ABAP code. Capable of reading Z-Code and debug client specific code
