Consultant, Service Management, GBS

Role Purpose:

 

The company relies heavily on ERP systems in performing back-office activities, hence ensuring the seamless support of these business processes is critical. This job is working towards making sure that support is effective and efficient.

 

The role is responsible for the support of IT Service Management processes facilitating SAP business applications to enable support and project teams deliver BAU support and various projects effectively and efficiently. (e.g.: Drive complex security incident response including advisory of necessary technical actions during the whole incident response cycle.)

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinating issue resolution on incidents and problems that occur for the live units.
  • Service and change requests management
  • Ensure stable IT Service Management process continuation and improvements
  • Help consultants ensure (if help requested) that tickets assigned to the consultant can be processed seamlessly
  • Contribute with input to designing, carry out testing, prepare user guides, train IT Service Management processes
  • Participate in the delivery of the services as defined in the Service Catalog
  • Proactive system monitoring, improvement proposals and initiatives
  • Preventive IT Service Management process support
  • Perform daily tasks in the global ticketing system

 

Requirements:

 

  • BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Economics or Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within SAP (Solution Manager, ServiceNow or comparable IT support solution.) or 2 years of relevant experience with willingness to develop and learn
  • ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
  • MS OneNote, MS Teams, SharePoint, SAP user experience, SAP Solution Manager user experience, ServiceNow user experience (the more of these the better)
  • IT Service Management process related to the SAP
  • Fluent English
